Historic Hoyle Homestead, Inc.
A 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, the Hoyle Historic Homestead, Inc. was formed in 1991 to purchase and preserve Gaston County's oldest residence. The organization has raised funds from membership and from grants to enable it to preserve the buildings and grounds.

At right is a replica of the Hoyle Homestead created by Loy Stroupe, who spent over 100 hours on this model — a tribute to his grandfather (who lived in the Hoyle House) and to his father, who wanted Loy to help preserve the house.
